Learning disability

We have been providing highly personalised support to people with a learning disability since 1986. Today, we support people all around the UK.

We use person centred thinking to plan how each person wants to be supported.

We provide ‘just enough support’ to enable each individual to do as much as they can for themselves while developing the skills to achieve greater independence.

Therefore the amount of support we provide depends on the needs of each person – it could be one hour per week to 24/7.

The support we provide someone with a learning disability can include:

  • Personal care
  • Shopping and cleaning
  • Housing management, budgeting, tenancy rights and responsibilities
  • Support in developing life skills that are an integral part of living independently
  • Maintaining security and neighbourhood relationships
  • Accessing the community and health services, education, training and employment.

If you, a family member or friend would like to find out more about the support we provide for individuals with learning disabilities, get in touch via the contact form below and we will be happy to discuss your specific needs.
