Young Charity Trustees Wanted!

A diverse Board of Trustees means fresh ideas, new ways of thinking, greater transparency and allows organisations to evolve with the times. We value an equal and diverse society for the people we support with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, and we apply this to all levels of our organisation as well. As a result, we are currently looking for younger people including those still studying, recently graduated, or in the early stages of their career, to apply to become Trustees of Walsingham Support.

As a young person considering becoming a Trustee, you may feel that a lack of long history of experience would be a barrier, however, what you can bring to the table in passion and new ideas is more of an asset.

In recognition of this, we offer mentorship and full support along the way. We will also reimburse expenses when attending Board Meetings and training. This represents a great chance to be involved at a high level in shaping the direction of a nationwide charity that really makes a difference to people’s lives.

If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity and register your interest, please contact Ravanti Halai at [javascript protected email address]

Interviews to be held on 12th June 2018.

Applicants should reside in either England or Wales. More information on who we are, our work and our values can be found here
