Philip Bradley

Philip joins Walsingham Support as a trustee following its merger with The Pontesbury Project, where he most recently served as a trustee. His connection to social care stretches back to the 1980s, when his father founded a home for adults with learning disabilities, sparking a lifelong interest in supporting people with additional needs.
Philip brings more than 30 years’ experience in international education, working in diverse, challenging, and rapidly changing contexts. He has held senior leadership positions, including Head of School and Principal, and has worked in both large, established schools of over 2,000 students as well as founding a new school from the ground up. His career has taken him and his family to France, Tanzania, Arabia, Peru, and Thailand.
Throughout his career, Philip has built and led learning-focused teams, fostering organisational cultures grounded in integrity, kindness, and commitment.
Philip enjoys walking and long distance cycling; currently he is getting to grips with managing a small area of woodland and pasture with a focus on sustainability and resilience. Since both of his children live overseas he gets to travel too.
