Working for Walsingham is not always easy. Good jobs never are! But you can expect plenty of excitement and challenges together with the reassurance you are doing something really worthwhile.
People do a variety of jobs at Walsingham. Some work directly with the people we support - anything from helping someone to hold a knife and fork to accompanying them on holiday. Others work with members of staff - for example, ensuring our finances are administered efficiently.
Don't worry if you have never worked in social care before, with people with learning disabilities or for a charity - we consider people from all sorts of backgrounds. More important to us is that you have a commitment to people with learning disabilities and value them as equal members of society.
