Make a real difference to people's lives

Although most of our services are paid for by local authorities, we need your help to fund other vital projects that support people with learning disabilities.

We recently started an important project that will enable people with learning disabilities to be as fully involved as possible in decisions that affect their lives. With your support, we can make a difference in so many other ways.

For example, your donation could help to:

  • Provide computers for the people we support
  • Pay for advocacy services for people with learning disabilities
  • Provide training for the people we support so they can be more involved in recruiting the staff that work with them
  • Fund our next conference for the people we support. This is a great opportunity for people to speak out about the issues that affect them, get more involved in Walsingham and make friends.

You can help us in a variety of ways:

Buy our Christmas cards - 50% off in our January sale!

Our Christmas cards have been designed by people we support. These cards are being sold in packs of 12 (2 cards of each design per pack) and cost £1.80 per pack.

All profits from the sale of these cards will go towards our projects for people with learning disabilities.

Please fill in our Christmas Card Order Form (this is in PDF format) if you would like to support our work by buying these cards and send it with a cheque made payable to 'Walsingham' to: Paul Snell, Walsingham, Walsingham House, 1331-1337 High Road, Whetstone, London N20 9HR. You can also request a form by contacting us on 020 8343 5600.

Donate by cheque

If you would like to make a donation, please fill in our Donation Form (this is in PDF format) and send it with a cheque made payable to 'Walsingham' to: Finance Department, Walsingham, Walsingham House, 1331-1337 High Road, Whetstone, London N20 9HR. You can also request a form by contacting us on 020 8343 5600.

If you are a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your donation by 28% without it costing you a penny more! Simply sign the Gift Aid section of our donation form - this allows us to reclaim tax from the Inland Revenue and so get even more funds for our vital projects. Find out more about Gift Aid.

Make regular donations from your salary

You can make regular donations directly from your salary if your employer runs a payroll giving scheme - and you only have to fill in a form once! The advantage of payroll giving is that we can reclaim the tax from the Inland Revenue at no cost to you - and the Government will then give us an extra 10% on top of this until April 2004! This extra money will help us fund even more vital projects.
