Walsingham Support has grown to become a national specialist provider, yet we remain true to our family roots.
The charity was founded in 1986 by Mark and Anne Snell to help create a better life for Matthew, their youngest son. Today, Matthew’s older brother Paul is our Chief Executive and he sets high levels of personal and professional standards.
Having started with one residential care home in Hertfordshire, Walsingham Support’s ‘can do’ approach has seen the organisation expand to support around 400 people in over 180 locations around the UK.
In 2016 we are celebrating 30 years of supporting people with disabilities. To mark our 30th anniversary, we have planned a series of fundraising events including a skydive and entering a team of runners in the 2016 Vitality British 10k London run.
