As a national specialist provider, we are big enough to be stable and financially sound but small enough to offer quality, localised solutions and a personal touch.
Walsingham Support has an annual turnover of around £20 million each year. We ensure all 376 individuals receive excellent support by our 800 high quality staff.
We offer a wide range of solutions and can provide a flexible approach to meet each individual’s needs, capabilities and choices across a wide range of service models, including supported living, residential care, support at home, lifestyle support and extra care.
We specialise in practical, innovative support which means finding the right solution for each individual, spending the time needed to get to know them really well, respecting their choices and empowering them to make the most of their unique capabilities.
We work hard to deliver quality and value. By increasing independence and happiness, we have shown that we can often get positive results for the individual while also delivering cost savings.
By understanding the people we support and really getting to know them we can reduce unhappy responses, thus reducing the need for intensive support.
We have established policies and procedures that ensure quality and high standards are consistently maintained. Our in-house Quality & Policy Practitioner ensures that regular audits take place at every service and that the requirements of the Care Quality Commission (England) and the Care and Social Services Inspectorate (Wales) are not just met, but surpassed.
Each team member takes part in continuous professional development and our unique training programme uses the best in contemporary skills development techniques, along with our bespoke values training which emphasises that everyone is different.
As part of our commitment to providing quality support, we have signed up to the Driving Up Quality Code.
