The party was in full swing as Cumbria staff and people we support put their party outfits on and hit the dance floor and raised a staggering £700 which will go on to fund new projects and better support people with disabilities.
The team at Atlantic House office, organised an 80’s themed party for people supported by Walsingham Support to celebrate our 30th anniversary.
Misha Fontenot, Quality and Projects officer said:
“We wanted to include people we support in our 30th anniversary celebrations as the organisation is about them. The party had an 80’s theme as Walsingham Support was founded in 1986. I am really pleased with the amount we raised, this is all thanks to the dedication of Walsingham Support staff who worked tirelessly to promote the event and our raffle to the local community. It was great to see people enjoying themselves dancing and taking part in the karaoke.”
Raffle prizes which were kindly donated by Windermere lake cruises raised over £700 which will go towards Walsingham Support’s £30,000 fundraising target.
