Paul Snell, Chief Executive of Walsingham Support, has been appointed as a Trustee for Skills for Care.

Skills for Care is a charity which provides practical tools and support to help adult social care organisations in England recruit, develop and lead their workforce by working with employers across the care sector to ensure dignity and respect are at the heart of service delivery.

Speaking about the new appointment, chair Dame Moira Gibb said,

“When we started looking for new board members I was impressed with the very high standard of applicants, each of them is a leader in their field which will help the Skills for Care’s board consider how we make sure workforce issues are central to very live debates about the role of the adult social care workforce in delivering high quality care and support in our communities.”

In response to the appointment, Paul said

“I am delighted to be appointed as a Trustee for Skills for Care. I look forward to joining the rest of the board and contributing to the wonderful work Skills for Care undertaken on behalf of the social care workforce.”
