Golf day a success!
We held our charity golf day on Friday 15th July 2012 at Aldenham Golf & Country Club in Hertfordshire.
During the day the golfers played 27 holes of golf. There were also lots of other competitions.
In the evening we gave out trophies to the winners of the competitions.
We also had an auction and raffle. We had some great prizes including a signed England football shirt, a round of golf for four people at Stoke Park and a flying lesson!
We raised over £8,000 at the golf day to make the lives of people with learning disabilities better.
Most of the money we raised at the golf day will go to helping people we support communicate more easily.
Some of the money will go to our Bill McLaughlin Memorial Fund. This fund gives money to people we support who have ideas about how to make their lives better.
